Namibia & South Africa was more than just a trip. It was a story of resilience.

We set off across two countries — Namibia and South Africa — to capture a documentary that would tell our story on the road, sponsored by Chapka Assurances. What started as a journey through some of the most striking landscapes we’d ever filmed quickly became something much harder to plan for.

Between long driving days, shifting logistics, and a string of unexpected setbacks along the way, nothing about this trip went the way we had imagined. We found ourselves adapting constantly: reworking plans, solving problems in real time, and learning to keep filming even when things fell apart around us.

What came out of it wasn’t the polished, effortless journey we’d pictured at the start. It became something more honest: a documentary about what it really looks like to chase a story across two countries, obstacles included.

This is Namibia and South Africa, seen through everything that didn’t go as planned.
